Kiss it Better Daddy

So lately Brock is into having his Mom and Dad "kiss it better" when he gets an owie. Tonight while Brock was playing with his "tow truck" he slipped and fell on it on his bum. Without missing a beat he ran over to his Daddy, turned around and said, "Daddy kiss it better."

Home for Christmas

We got to go home to Montana for Chirstmas. We had a blast! (Uncle Cary and friend Marcelle, Grandma Jones holding Riley, Grandpa Jones, Me, Gage holding Brock)

Grandpa reading Santa Mouse to Brock. It is a Christmas Eve tradition.

Getting a tool set from Uncle Cary. He is saying, "OH WOW."

We blessed Riley yesterday. It was a beautiful blessing. We didn't have any family here, so that was hard. But we enjoyed the day nonetheless. Riley fussed during the blessing and Brock kept saying "My baby okay, my baby okay?" He loves his brother!

One of Brock's new favorite toys is this "little tykes" car, that we borrow from the neighbor. He calls it his "truck." It is his favorite thing to drive and he says he is an "awesome driber." He doesn't scoot in it he jus puts the keys in and pretends to drive.
One night while he was playing in it he stood up in the car and he slipped. His feet went under the front of the car while his back was on the seat. I saw the whole thing happen from the chair where I was feeding Riley and unable to help him. Gage was doing the dishes and I yelled in a semi-frantic vioce, "Oh...Gage." Gage looked up and started to come to the rescue, but before he could get there, from somewhere under the car we hear this fully frantic little voice say, "Oh Gage, Oh Gage, Oh Gage, Oh Gage." By the time Gage got there and got him out I was laughing so hard I could hardly comfort the crying boy. Glad to report no harm done and he is loving the car agian.
